JOIN US for an evening of art and live performance at Hay Studio as part of SITUATION: our autumn season of creative events looking at the meaning of place and locality and the joy of collaboration.

The evening is a unique opportunity to see a live duet miles & miles by London-based performance makers Karen Christopher and Sophie Grodin.

The evening will also launch an exhibition of new work by Emma Hambly.

Emma's exhibition continues 3 - 9 December, open 11am - 3pm daily

Karen Christopher & Sophie Grodin
In making miles & miles Karen and Sophie embraced uncertainty in both form and content, working through ideas around the alternation of containment and free fall they came to thinking about dependence on others and the marks it leaves, the bends and folds where the other fits, the joy of it and the weight.

Emma Hambly
Emma's works, collected under the title of 'liminal', are related to time spent in indistinctness, of disorientation and incomprehension, of transitions, and of the threads and traces of connection between people, places and experiences that guide and mark the way through fog.

Opening night cost: £10 per person including a glass of wine on arrival
Cash bar + refreshments available
